I can't tell you how much I am against having wolves and wolf x dog hybrids as pets. They're not pets, they're wild animals. They should not be kept as pets, they should not be bred and they should not be sold. If you have a wolf or a wolf x dog hybrid, then I down you very much.
Just so you understand, I do realize that the Czech wolfdog (hound/whatever) is a breed of dog, not a wolf hybrid. I used this photo because it met my needs; I did not want to use a photograph of someone's hybrid, then having the person find out I used their photo against them.
Selective breeding and modifying and manipulating specific traits has brought us our loyal companions, the dog and the breeds of dogs. Wolf hybrids are not your typical domesticated dog; they have no use for humans, they do not want to live in your home, and they certainly do not want to be chained to a dog house. Wolf hybrids have no willingness or desire to please their owners like a domesticated dog.
To properly house and care for a wolf hybrid, it takes an experienced dog handler and wolf expert to fully fulfill this type of animal's needs. A wolf hybrid is not a pet and should never be treated as such; they are wild animals and wild animals should not be tampered with by the average dog owner.
